GLAM, Your Way
Every session includes a full glam treatment with professional hair and makeup, because sometimes the best part of getting ready is simply having someone else take care of you for a while.
Our hair styling typically includes a beautiful, voluminous Victoria’s Secret-inspired curls. Your makeup is designed to enhance your features and photograph beautifully without making you feel like you’re wearing someone else’s face. Prior to your session you will have a mini consultation with one of our artists. At that time, you will show any inspo photo or any ideas that you may have. Whether its Full Glam or soft and natural.
And don’t worry about perfection.
Your hair is going to move. A lot.
We’ll be tossing it, running our hands through it, moving it across your face, flipping it around, and letting it do its thing throughout your session. We want it to look touchable, lived-in, and effortless not like you’re afraid to breathe because you might mess it up.
We work with several talented local hair and makeup artists, so you’ll be in very good
hands. If you have a specific artist you’d love to work with, just let us know when you book and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
But Here's the Real Benefit of Glam...
It isn't just about having your makeup done.
That 90 minutes before we ever start shooting is intentional.
You get to sit down. Have a drink. Be pampered. Let someone else worry about your hair and makeup while you slowly settle into the experience.
Because I know you might walk through the door feeling nervous.
You might be wondering what you're supposed to do, whether you're going to look good, or if you've somehow made a terrible decision by agreeing to let a photographer take pictures of you in your underwear.
And then something happens.
You start getting ready.
You start seeing yourself come together.
You start relaxing
By the time we begin shooting, you've had time to breathe, get comfortable, and transition out of your everyday life and into this experience.
Every part of your time with me is intentional. From the moment you walk through the door to the moment you leave, the goal is to create an environment where you can let your guard down and feel like the most confident version of yourself.
And If Glam Isn't Your Thing?
That's completely okay, too.
You are never required to have your hair and makeup professionally done. If you feel most like yourself with a clean face and your own hair, come exactly as you are.
There is no right way to do boudoir.
The experience should feel good to you.
Glam is there when you want to be pampered, transformed, and taken care of not because you need to be “fixed.”
