"This session will always be a staple in my self love journey which I will NEVER forget. That is priceless to me."
" So you're probably here for a couple of reasons... on the fence wondering if you should go ahead and book the session, did other woman enjoy their experience? and most importantly if you're going to go ahead and do it, Is Laura the person you should pick versus another photographer?
My intention here is to go ahead and put my heart and soul in this review because that's how special this experience ended up being for me. In addition to, I fully believe Laura deserves it. Lucky for you, this should really clear the air up if your truly serious about a boudoir session-which you should be because it was one of the greatest acts of self love I have ever taken.
So, you've booked it
If you're anything like myself and many other woman you've struggled with loving your body before. Our bodies can receive brutal, verbal shaming without even realizing it... it seems to be common place for us to talk down on our bodies, criticize her, neglect her and point out where she is not matching up. I am no different which is why booking this seemed like insanity "I'm going to feel so uncomfortable and awkward!!" I actually felt physically sick driving to the session the morning of. But let me tell you, the moment I walked in I immediately felt at ease...Laura and her makeup artist automatically make you feel comfortable and the feeling in the studio is perfect and homey. You basically feel like your hanging out with your girlfriends getting your makeup done...No big deal!
While getting your photos taken, Laura tells you everything to do and is your greatest hype woman... you can release the stress of needing to know "what to do" now. There were so many times I was certain I would look "awkward" and those photos ended up being some of my favorites. I believe, during a session you should energetically feel built up, and seen which is exactly what I felt with Laura. After receiving my photos I am beyond happy with them and would make the decision to try a boudoir shoot for the first time all over again. This session will always be a staple in my self love journey which I will NEVER forget. That is priceless to me.
I want you to realize that it's not just about the photos. Our most special lovers have been able to see us in this light before, mostly while being physically intimate but we never actually see ourselves this way. This was important for me to see and I think it certainly changed my self concept. The result of this type of photography is a physical manifestation and reminder of a woman's greatest super power... her se*uality and vulnerability. This is about the only way you can be captured in such a sen*ual, artistic way and Laura has the eye for it. I found this to be extremely empowering while admiring sides of me that I have always felt existed... but never saw.
P.S. I didn't realize how much I would love the phone app! Now anytime I am feeling a little insecure... I pull up my app and remind myself what a bad bi*ch I am!"
